How to turn / rotate a video ?

Often when you take a video with your mobile phone (GSM) or camera (with video capability) with filming set to “portrait”, you have therefore a higher purpose and it makes it better. But the main trouble comes when you must extract the video: the image is upside down (or side). With a photo is pretty simple to put right, you use any editing software and you made the pivot. But with a video that is not so obvious. How then to turn or rotate the video in the right direction ?

A temporary trick to play video normally is to use the software VLC . I say temporarily because the video once left regain its “natural” form.

To watch a video right on VLC media player, simply download the software first ultra complete if you have not already done so. Then follow these steps:

• Run the software
• Open your video to play
• Click the small button next to the sound that is titled “Extended options” (see photos)
• Go to “Video Effects” -> “Geometry”
• Check the “Turn” and adjust the angle to your video
• Voila!
